Perfect Tense = Simple Past
(went did….) |
The perfect
form of the verb is used to create the perfect tense, also called
the simple past tense, as in the below examples:
राम
बाज़ार गया।
Ram went to bazaar.
वह यहाँ
कब आई?
When did she come here.
मधुबाला
दुनिया से गई।
Madhubala passed away.
(Literally: Madhubala went
from the world.)
मैं होटल
में ठहरा।
I stayed in the hotel.

वह मूवी देखने
नहीं गई।
she didn’t go to see the movie.
