In Urdu, we use the postposition سے to mean "since" and "for" in the following sentences.
Note that the verb is in the present progressive tense or the simple present:
میں کل سے کام کر رہی ہُوں
"I have been working since yesterday."
میری ماتا پاںچ دِنوں سے یہاں ہیں۔
"My mother is here for five days."
