5.3	Oblique of adjectives and possessives

Adjectives also reflect the oblique case. Remember, only adjectives that end in आ can change to show agreement.

Note that the only time the oblique adjective differs from the non-oblique (nominative) adjective, is for the masculine singular.

	Oblique adjective ending
Masculine singular and plural	ए
Feminine singular and plural	ई

Examples:

	Adjective plus noun: Singular	Adjective plus noun: Plural
Masculine Type 1	अच्छे संतरे में	अच्छे संतरों में
Masculine Type 2	अच्छे फल में	अच्छे फलों में
Feminine Type 1	अच्छी रोटी में	अच्छी रोिटयों में
Feminine Type 2	अच्छी दुकान में	अच्छी दुकानों में
