To
have difficulty or ease = कठिनाई
or आसानी |
View movie about कठिनाई
or आसानी
Just like "having" other intangible
things (emotions, fever, etc.), to have difficulty or ease takes
the dative construction.
Examples:
I
have difficulty (usually) in reading Hindi.
मुझे हिन्दी
पढ़ने में कठिनाई
होती है।
I will have difficulty in reading Hindi.
मुझे हिन्दी
पढ़ने में मुश्किल
(or
कठिनाई) होगी।
Note that the subject
of the English sentence must be in dative in the Hindi sentence,
and that in Hindi the verb agrees with कठिनाई
(or मुश्किलor
आसानी)
which is now the subject.
Also
note that you should use होती है
instead of है because difficulty (or ease) is something
that generally happens, UNLESS you are talking about having difficulty
only at this specific moment.
You
could also say:
For me, reading (in)
Hindi is difficult.
मेरे लिये
हिन्दी (में)
पढ़ना कठिन
है।
