This is the formula for "to want to V" (where V is any verb):
Verb (infinitive form) +
चाहना
(conjugated) + Auxiliary verb.
Remember that in Lesson 1 we learned that the verbal phrase always
comes at the end of the sentence, and that nothing should come after
the conjugated verb. Thus the infinitive verb in this construction
must come before
the conjugated verb.
