In sentences
expressing going "to a place" English usually uses the preposition
"to." In Hindi no postposition is necessary. Look at the following
examples:
I am going to the bazaar. |
मैं बाज़ार
जा रहा हूँ। |
I want to go to Qutub Minar. |
मैं क़ुतुब
मीनार जाना
चाहता हूँ। |
But note the following where English also uses no preposition:
I am going home. |
मैं घर जा रही
हूँ। |
Where do you want to go? |
आप कहाँ जाना
चाहते हैं? |
